A SCUBA ADVENTURE ABOUT LOVE, LOSS & SECOND CHANCES

A scuba accident leaves one man dead and another paralyzed. Scuba instructor Jonathan Strong is consumed by remorse and self-loathing over the incident, routinely drinking himself into oblivion while desperately trying to reclaim his failing marriage.

Searching for redemption, Jonathan creates the Deep Dive Foundation, where people with various levels of challenge are given the opportunity to experience the freedom of the underwater world. With the help of his leadership team, he trains a diverse group of people, culminating in certification dives and a week-long dive trip in the Florida Keys.

Meanwhile, restless trust-fund heir Roman Carmichael learns that he cannot access his billion-dollar inheritance unless he makes a substantial donation to a nonprofit. He reluctantly chooses the Deep Dive Foundation, then discovers that writing a check isn’t enough; he’s expected to participate in the program that helps wheelchair users learn to dive.

During the training, Roman falls for Jewels, a woman who has come looking for adventure. What no one knows is that she is living with a terminal diagnosis and intends for this to be one last extraordinary experience.

As their adventure unfolds above and below water, strangers become family, and two very different men find themselves confronting love, loss, and redemption. On the final day, Jonathan and Roman’s paths collide, forcing each to discover just how deep he will go for love.
